PJ BloomMusic Supervisor
PJ Bloom has worked in Film and Television music since the early 90's, including stints at Columbia Records, Arista Records and NARA. He has created soundtracks for over 50 films, hundreds of episodes of television and worked with such prolific filmmakers and television producers as Steven Spielberg, Ryan Murpy, Michael Mann, Jerry Bruckheimer, Ridley Scott and Mike Nichols. His recent projects include the musical spectacular Glee, Eat, Pray, Love starring Julia Roberts, CSI: Miami, Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning series Nip/Tuck and The Shield and Diablo Cody's United States of Tara. PJ has been a Music Consultant for HBO Films for over a decade, overseeing major successes like Generation Kill, Angels In America and Maria Full of Grace. He has also consulted for Disneyland Theme Parks for their music drive rides and attractions.
PJ is a partner in Neophonic, one of the largest Music Supervision firms in existence. He is a founding member of the Guild of Music Supervisors, serves on The Hollywood Reports/Billboard Film & Television Music Conference Advisory Board and the Academy of Country Music Film & Television Task Force and is a voting member of The Grammy Awards. His awards include 2009 Hollywood Music in Media Award for Outstanding Music Supervision and 2009 National Association of Record Industry Professionals "Best in the Biz" Award.
Glen BrunmanSoundtrack Executive
Glen Brunman has been the soundtrack executive for Sony Music since 1992, as the founder of Epic Soundtrax, the President of Sony Music Soundtrax and, most recently, as the soundtrack consultant for Columbia Records. Glen's successes over the years include the soundtracks for Sleepless In Seattle, Philadelphia and Forrest Gump, as well as Titanic, Garden State and Once. In the area of film musicals, he was responsible for the Chicago and Dreamgirls soundtracks. In the television field, he worked on the multi-volume soundtracks for Ally McBeal, Dawson's Creek and The Sopranos. Most recently, Glen brought the Glee project to Columbia Records and continues to oversee the Glee compilation albums as well as the weekly release of the show's episodic recordings.
Kevin EdelmanMusic Supervisor
Kevin Edelman, owner of Metalman Media Inc., built the foundation for his music supervision career as a musician and radio DJ, while attending the University of Florida. After moving to Los Angeles, Kevin combined his knowledge of music, recording, and business with his passion for film and television production and started Metalman. He supervised shows like "Providence", "Baywatch", "Roswell", "Boston Public", "Carnivale", "Boston Legal", "My Name is Earl" as well as feature films like "The Butterfly Effect" and "Code Name: The Cleaner".
Combined, Kevin has music supervised over a thousand hours of network television, MOW's, pilots and features. Current Projects include "Bones", "Criminal Minds", "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior" and "Love Bites".
Frankie PineMusic Supervisor
Music Supervisor Frankie Pine has been instrumental in putting together memorable arrangements on a variety of film and television projects, displaying a versatility that has made her a success.
During her career she has overseen the music featured in such diverse films as "Nurse Betty", "Kinsey", "The Toothfairy" and "The Santa Claus 2 & 3" and in such television series as "Brothers and Sisters", "Army Wives", Hung" and "Body of Proof". In addition to those titles, she also served as music consultant on Steven Soderbergh's films including the Academy Award-winning "Traffic" and "Ocean's 11, 12 and 13".
Pine currently works under her banner of Whirly Girl Music. Whirly Girl has an extensive list of film credits as well as many successful television shows. Awards include a Grammy nomination for the "Traffic" soundtrack and an RIAA Certified Gold Record for "How To Be A Player."
Gary StiffelmanZiffren Brittenham LLP
Gary is a partner in the law firm of Ziffren Brittenham LLP where, together with his partners, he represents or has represented some of the most prominent recording artists in the world, including Lady Gaga, Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Toni Braxton, Prince, Michael Jackson, Nine Inch Nails and Aerosmith. He has also been counsel for significant independent record labels such as Rhino, Interscope, Death Row, LaFace and Octone, and been involved in ground-breaking transactions including the purchases of CBS Songs, Motown Records and Jobete Music Publishing. Gary is currently an Adjunct Professor at the UCLA School of Law teaching Music Industry Law, and a member of the advisory board for NARAS' Entertainment Law Initiative. Gary proudly serves on the Executive Board of the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program and as President of the Music and Entertainment Committee for the City of Hope. He is a Founding Director and on the Executive Board and audit committee for The Private Bank of California. Gary received his Bachelors Degree in pre-medical studies from Kansas University, his Masters Degree in Film from USC and his Law Degree from the UCLA School of Law.
D.A. WallachChester French
D.A. Wallach is best known as one-half of Chester French, a critically-acclaimed duo discovered by Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. An '07 graduate of Harvard College, D.A. has been featured in GQ, Rolling Stone, Vogue, and numerous other publications. He has toured with Lady Gaga, Blink 182, and Weezer, and has appeared on many TV Shows, including Jimmy Kimmel Live and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
In addition to Chester French, D.A. is one-half of two other groups: D.A. & The Supa Dups and The Brothers Voodoo. And as a solo vocalist, he has written and performed on recordings with Diddy, Common, Rick Ross, Janelle Monae, Asher Roth, Akon, and others. When not himself recording, D.A. collaborates as a songwriter with a diverse array of producers and artists.
Beyond music, he is a recognized social media pioneer, having been the first artist ever to use facebook and among the most followed artists on twitter (@dachesterfrench). D.A. advises or invests in several start-up technology companies, and is the official Artist In Residence at Spotify. In 2012, Forbes selected D.A. as one of its 30 Under 30 in Music.
