Bob RobackChief Executive Officer

Bob currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Dashbox. Prior to Dashbox, Bob founded LAUNCH Media, Inc. in 1994 and served as its President. LAUNCH transformed the consumer music discovery experience online, and Bob led the company through its initial public offering in 1999 and then its acquisition by Yahoo! in 2001. Following the sale, Bob served as Vice President and General Manager of Yahoo! Music, where he led the company's global music operations and built it into the Internet's most popular music destination. Prior to LAUNCH, Bob was an associate practicing corporate and securities law at the international firm of Mayer, Brown & Platt. He received his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.

Brian BoysVice President, Product

Brian is an Australian. The tyranny of distance and a harsh landscape have conspired to make Australians, as a rule, a resourceful bunch of problem solvers. This makes Brian perfectly suited to the role of Vice President, Product for Dashbox. Brian joined Dashbox after serving as General Manager at iPrime, the online arm of Australian media network Prime Television. Prior to iPrime, Brian spent seven years at Yahoo! He was the inaugural sports producer and later Head of Entertainment at Yahoo! Australia before moving to Los Angeles to lead international product strategy for Yahoo! Music as Director of Global Media Services. Brian completed his law degree at Sydney’s Macquarie University.

Steve SkrzyniarzChief Technology Officer

Steve is a technologist, entrepreneur and a longtime indie music geek. Prior to Dashbox, he founded Soundflavor, a provider of music search and personalized music discovery technologies. He is a nine-year veteran of Microsoft, shipping over 50 products as a software developer, QA Manager, and Group Program Manager in the Visual C++ and Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) teams, where he spearheaded initiatives to evangelize strategic technologies including ActiveX, DirectX, and Internet Explorer. In the late 80’s and early 90’s, Steve owned and operated three Seattle-area independent record labels, handling A&R, production, packaging, marketing, distribution, and tour support for his bands. As a distributor of indie music in the early 90’s, Steve authored a do-it-yourself guide to help artists to release their own records, which formed the basis of the now-legendary "Mechanics Guide To Putting Out Records".

Nina RistaniVice President, User Experience

Nina is a user experience and visual design specialist, major problem solver, and longtime surfer. As Vice President of User Experience Design at Dashbox, Nina applies more than a decade of expertise in making consumer-facing and business web applications simple and engaging. Prior to Dashbox, Nina spearheaded interaction and visual design for Yahoo!’s Entertainment, Lifestyles and Sport sites, which include Music, Movies, TV, omg! (celebrity), Shine (lifestyles), Sports, Games, and Kids. During her tenure at Yahoo!, Nina managed the branding and naming of its music website, application and subscription service and received a design patent for its Yahoo! Media Player “play the web” vision (design). In the late 90s, Nina wore many hats as head of production at LAUNCH Media Inc., merging nascent web technology, with traditional editorial and production to help bring new music and artists to the masses in the digital age.

Tammy SauntVice President, Marketing and Business Development

As the VP of Marketing and Business Development at Dashbox, Tammy will be responsible for managing our label and publisher relationships. Tammy joins Dashbox after earning her stripes slogging away for over a decade in the trenches of the Los Angeles music business, most recently as General Manager of Tuff Gong Worldwide Records and Ishti Music Publishing. Prior to Tuff Gong, Tammy represented artists at The William Morris Agency, managed pop artists at The Firm, pitched composers at the Air Edel Agency, and plugged commercial music at Elias Arts. Tammy is a networker and multi-tasker who has built the relationships and the expertise necessary to bring Dashbox to the next level. Tammy has a JD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School, and a BA from Dartmouth College.
